2025 Run the Runway
Inaugural Lewis University Run/Walk
Get ready to lace up and hit the runway! Lewis University is hosting Run the Runway, a unique run/walk experience at Lewis University Airport. Whether you're running, walking, or rolling in a stroller or wagon, this is your chance to experience the thrill of the tarmac—no planes required! This event is a fundraiser benefiting two incredible Lewis aviation clubs: Women’s Air Race Classic Club and Women in Aviation Club. Come out, get active, and support our future aviators!

Schedule
Check-in: 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (arrive anytime)
Runway Open: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In celebration of "May the 4th be with you," wear your Star Wars gear!
Runway Closes: 12 p.m. (all participants must be clear)
Food & Vendors: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Lewis University Airport (Parking in Lot GG - enter through Harold White Aviation building)
Open to all (no pets or headphones allowed on runway for safety purposes).
T-shirts are included (indicate size during registration).
Register by April 17 to guarantee t-shirt at event. Those who register after April 17 can pick t-shirt up at Lewis at a later date.
